Reference, Sketching, Story Development
The first week my team dedicated our time to coming up with a storyline. We started by brainstorming ideas and aesthetics that we all liked.
To help with our ideation, I took reference from places, films, and time period aesthetics that I found interesting. Some of the places that caught my eye where neon Hong Kong, weird spooky gas stations, and more abstract settings that resemble the 80's.

For vehicle inspiration, I grabbed pieces of Tron, Ferrari race cars, BMW's future concept, and some semi hologram cars.

As the team's compositor, it will be my first time doing the set extension of a city. I was taken by these images.



After we all got together, we decided on a futuristic motorcycle from Ducati. Our team decided that we wanted to do a three shot narrative in which the motorcycle starts out in a futuristic neon city, then the motorcycle travels through a portal, and then comes out the other side in the present.
